“It’s unfair to judge comments and decisions made in the midst of a pandemic, involving a novel virus, through the lens of hindsight six years later.”
You left out the rest of that sentence.
Most public health officials misjudged how easily the general public would accept misinformation from the anti Covid crowd. Their fatal flaw was not recognizing how organized the antivax movement was, and how quickly they would leverage people’s fears to build their own base.
Which part of my comment was inaccurate?
It’s unfair to judge comments and decisions made in the midst of a pandemic, involving a novel virus, through the lens of hindsight six years later.
While that was the recommendation at one point, it was later revised as the virus was better understood.
Most of that is from the AV industry.
There is far more wisdom in the combined minds of the members of the house and Senate than in one dementia-compromised mind of the current occupant of the Whitehouse.

Butter tarts without raisins are heresy.
Who is “we”?
If you think Canada is “creating the same problem”, you misunderstood my comment.
While Canada has a similar (though far less severe) issue with wealth disparity, our checks and balances on political power are still intact.
It’s far more than Trump. He just took advantage of the rot, laid it bare for all to see.
That one person, in under 6 months, could undo two centuries of alliances and good will, could tear up trade and defence treaties, shows just how weak and ineffective the US’s checks and balances have become.
The last time the Olympics were in LA was 1984, and were boycotted by 19 countries.
One wonders if 2028 may break that record.
So, things you made up.
Which mess?
Without performative contrarianism, there would be no MAGAts.
Progressive Conservative.
Or, and hear me out, Bring Back the Center!
French’s stepped in, buying from farmers abandoned by the farmers Heinz, with Canadian processing/packaging.
Heinz returned in 2022, due to consumer backlash. They are desperately marketing “made in Canada” to regain market share but, even in the current “buy Canada” era, they are failing.
The Heinz ketchup boycott is a fascinating case study, and serves as a lesson to US companies about Canadian consumers.
Heinz exited Canada in 2014, moving manufacturing to the US, using US tomatoes.
What if they pit Trump against Harris, a replay of the 2024 election?
She’d kick his ass.
Bring him a glass of tainted water from one of these communities, and challenge him to drink it on camera.
Which one can the doctor profit from? (Check’s doctor’s website for links to raw milk sales)
You get a follow for this
That’s a pretty lazy way of avoiding the issue of his racism.
The better part of valor would be to admit your error and move on.
