[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator, Princess-Muffins, and Myself] Hermes always enjoyed running at night, whether he was carrying mail vans, milk tankers, stone trains - anything, really. The peaceful atmosphere always seemed to put him at ease - plus, the trucks always seemed too tired to give him much trouble.

[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator, Princess-Muffins, and Myself] Toad the Brake Van felt a bit like a fish out of water. He'd been in considerably better condition than Oliver and Isabel, and as such had been put back into service much sooner than the other two. Now, he was alone, on an unfamiliar island. While waiting to be dragged off to who-knows-where, Toad met a little red engine, who introduced himself as Rheneas. The two engines talked for a while - mostly about the company Toad had had on his way to Sodor. Toad was surprised to find that Rheneas not only understood his feelings - he related to them. Rheneas had arrived not long after another engine - Skarloey. Skarloey was numbered 1, and named after the railway. Rheneas began to feel for a while that he was living in Skarloey's shadow, much like how Toad felt he was in Oliver's shadow. Rheneas encouraged Toad to find someone he wanted to work with, not someone he felt he had to attach himself to. Toad kept this in mind as Rheneas set off to resume his work, knowing exactly who that engine would be.

You don't have to like what Christopher says, but at least have the sense to be considerate. He's doing more than what Mattel has done in years.

As I said, that thread and Twitter drama is not just a rant; it's a lesson on how your actions can affect others. For better or worse.

As I've said, the entire thread was only meant to be a lesson to us that we can't always expect someone to give us the right thing and get away with it. Christopher has a choice responding to us, and the people annoying him with a dreadful amount of questions are irresponsibly using that kindness.

Adding onto my recent thread, I apologize if it seems I'm adding onto "unnecessary drama" and bringing it onto here. I'm not usually one to talk about heavy issues, but I really just wanted to give my feelings on this matter to you all. Even if BlueSky is a sanctuary, this is a serious matter.

I should also mention that this is NOT a hate post to Sodor Island Models since he was contacted himself by the publishers instead of the other way around. This is only towards the grown children of the fandom who don't know how to let a grown-

(Although, the inclusion of Walter and container traffic I included cause those are the only things new-

And another thing: you shouldn't feel like you have to change your AU to be in line with the new lore. I mean, I myself had to refute many of the claims from the last lecture and the new lore dump just revealed yesterday because I'm quite happy with my AU-

-tions. That's why we have AUs. The best AUs are the ones where people let their creative juices flow to make something work, even if it retcons or ignores something entirely. The people that created our childhood shouldn't HAVE to hold our hand and explain everything in detail for us and shouldn't-
