WOW it's insane how this game is improving over time
I've been working on a tool for my godot game to create waterfalls based on the collision of the terrain, still have a lot of refinement to do, + tuning features and additional effects (like base splashes) I'm planning to add to the tool, but I'm already pretty happy with the results its producing!

Dune movies, but in videogames... It comes to my mind Blasphemous. It had a very cool dark but badass chosen one vision with a great introduction. He literally pulls out a sword forged by the solidification of guilt. Damn, that goes so hard to think about

Sometimes I think about it and I should have made smaller games before the ones I'm currently working on. There is too much to do in order to achieve the bare minimum and there is too little time to do all of it, even with help.
Gamedev it's a mountain. And I'm taking baby steps to climb it.

En mi caso, este juego me unió más con mi pareja. Aunque habÃa momentos como los del meme siento que nos ayudó a gestionar el uno al otro en situaciones frustrantes y hacer cosas en equipo. Seguimos jugando a dÃa de hoy intentando hacer los niveles con 4 estrellas. Es genial.

Hahahaha ur right. Automatic UVs without seams are just unusable crap. That's one of the (many) key roles of a 3D modeller. Designing good seams for better unwrapping and so better texturing. It's a real rabbit hole.
Now the UV thing is an achievement hahaha

I did not regret any minute from this pre-launch open weekend. I came for the visuals and I stay for the gameplay. It has surprisingly been the first live service game I have enjoyed both with and without friends. Absolute peak *TO ME*.

Linkedin for gamedev jobs is beyond awful. Unless you start talking to people capable of hiring you. Otherwise try other job application platform or look into the webpages of studios directly because MOST of them have their own tab of "work with us" with active offers or spontaneous ones. Trust me
