Why is it always the older furries man... I was the shorter and younger person in this incident.
I hate that this happened to me and I'm trying not to hate myself for being so nice to them afterwards.
Suffice it to say, my trust issues just sky-rocketed.
So why am I posting this?
I don't know. Just to share that this happened.
Besides this single incident, FurDU was a great con and I would go again.
But being sexually assaulted(?) for the first time wasn't on my bingo card.
- exited the shower to then hug me while naked.
I froze, then physically recoiled, then pushed them off me saying "No, I don't want a hug from you. You're naked. I don't consent to that"
They apologised and started to yap about it and I brushed it off with a "Sure. Ok." and walked past them.
All of this will be deleted soon- but basically, was at a friend's hotel, their friend was walking around naked (btw I don't have an issue with nudity) and this person knew that cause I told them idc after they apologised.

For whatever reason, I feel like I'm taking a risk posting this online. This isn't a call out, or a push for attention, I just want to vent an experience I had while at a friends hotel at FurDU.
No names will be mentioned. I'm still processing what tf happened.

You infact DO have to ask someone for consent before hugging them. Especially when the person breaking that consent is fucking naked.
I'm unsure if that classes said hug as sexual harassment, but yeah FurDU was great.
