We have funding for a PhD position on word learning of a third language! The position is part of a research group on the psychology of language control (bilingualism), so that there will be a cohort of PhD students with related topics. Please distribute with anyone who might be interested. :)
Postdoctoral Researcher (100 %), a 4-Year Postdoc on Psychology of Language Control, RWTH Aachen University, Germany
The position is embedded in the DFG funded Research Unit “Bilingual Flexibility — The Psychology of Language Control”.
Application deadline is 15 March 2026.
Bots have made their way to Prolific experiments. Our lab has stopped online testing of adults entirely now for this reason - we want to know if what we study is real. Probably data collected 2-3 years ago are ok, but moving forward we just can't know. www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...
Applications are still open (until March 1) for the 2026 ERP Boot Camp at UC Davis from 6/15-6/24! It's a workshop for people with at least 1 year of experience with EEG/ERP, and ALL EXPENSES ARE PAID. I went many years ago – it was a great and very educational experience.
I am so pleased that my first paper out this year is this multi-coauthored gem with my collaborators in the ROLE Collective. It was so wonderful to serve as a small part of this effort to understand the terms we use as language researchers and their impacts!

@matildellen.bsky.social bravely decided to do a registered report with @pci-regreports.bsky.social as the first manuscript of her PhD -- 2+ years later, it's out! It's on how bilingualism affects statistical word learning, and the results were quite unexpected. Read more:
