I’ve been at a church meeting where we were talking about vocation and the point of priesthood, and there was a lot that was encouraging, but I came away thinking that the C of E is often an anxious organisation that is fixated on “success”.

But what we’re actually called to is faithfulness.

You’re all too kind. The other place has remained a fruitful field, but will try and update a bit more here (if someone could invent a thing which allows me to post to both, that would be ace!)

Am mulling a think piece/review of tomorrow’s service and what it is meant to convey. Let me know if you’re interested in reading it (Subs*ack or if someone wants to publish…).
