There's been some talk about reopening the Woodhaven LIRR station on the Atlantic Branch. While a considerable project in it's own right, we envision the Woodhaven LIRR Station as part of the QueensLink proposal and we fully support efforts to reopen it!

Looks like the bigger issue is the IRT under Beekman. That might reduce the grade to 4% or just under. That would be *better*, but this is still tight to construct.

This feels indicative of a lot of transit fights. Advocates often only see a line on a map and don't see everything that comes along with it. Or, politicians being what they are, are only focused on how a project could help them in some way.
