Man it sure would be a pity if people flooded J.K. Rowling's hate fund with fake applications, I hope no one does that.

Rebel of the Regency by Ann Foster: The Scandalous Saga of Caroline of Brunswick, Britain’s Queen Without a Crown
I always thought Caroline of Brunswick should get a biopic. Now I’m 100% certain it’s a full-on crime if she doesn’t get a movie. This book is fun, it’s got intrigue and drama, Italian villas, and stars a baddie. Fantastic. Someone adapt this right the heck now.

Yeahhhh the dresses were bad. I don’t know wtf happened there.
I mean, yes, they were. I'm sure that was a choice of practicality. Personally, I would prefer a real garden vs. a CGI Westminster Bridge.
Oh her new dresses were so bad. Her hiking outfit was stunning though.
What did you think of the series as a whole?
yup! Map away, friend!
A text exchange between my husband and I: He sent me a photo of his Word of the Day calendar, featuring the word “tsundoku” which is a Japanese word for letting unread books pile up. I replied with “Why are you attacking me like this?”

I happen to have Monday off so i know what I’ll be doing.
I honestly have no idea but it made me less annoyed by the, well, the inconvenience.

Dude, you make TikToks for a living. My struggle is not your costume.
If ghosts exist, I hope Trump’s ghost sees what people post/say about him when he’s gone.
💯 Mary saying no and putting her foot down was the very beginning of her coming-of-age and confidence-building story.
I do like Mr. Hayward and Mr. Ryder though. I think the casting is perfect.
And of course *sigh* the obligatory corset tightening scene with no fabric between it and her skin. Other than that, I'm still very much enjoying it.
OK, I see what you mean now. The biggest why-did-they-do-that, for me, is having her own aunt ask her to be a governess. It turns her aunt's kindness into asking Mary to be her employee. They didn't need to do that. It's so weird.
Hi! Looks like your feed IS mostly history so that’s a good start. But I try not to add people to the feed who have only been on Bluesky for more than a few days. (Welcome!) You can still get into the feed by tagging #history though. Hit me up again in a month and I’ll review again.

hey
y’all want some polyester?
The bullshit AI magic pencil icon next to Suggestions. The first option underneath says “Sorry to hear that. Oh man, that is a lot for everyone to…” and there is another option next to it cut off.
Nothing says “I care about you and the challenges you’re dealing with” like using a canned AI response from Gmail.
Oh snap! I didn’t know! Thanks for the heads up!
“You’re not wearing green, I’m going to punch you!”
“OW!! I’m pretty sure it’s pinch, not punch!”
“hm?”
“For St. Patrick’s Day?”
“Oh, that’s today?”

Wait, are all the episodes available???
Looooooved the book.
Cast photo of The Other Bennet Sister with Mary Bennet up front and her family behind her.
A *very* strong start for BBC’s new #JaneAusten adaptation, #TheOtherBennetSister. The Janice Hadlow novel was great, and this series seems like it could really be something great to add to the Austensphere. #costumedramas #perioddramas 📺 #historicalfiction
