Short Mat Bowling may not be in your vernacular yet, but Hamilton Mountain's Fred Gundel is looking to change that. He is inspired to spread the love of the game, freshly back from Norway and an impressive showing at the Short Mat Bowling World Championships. Congratulations, Fred!

Today's announcement to approve a rail sufferance warehouse means CBSA will be able to clear containers at the Port of Hamilton, boosting our economy and reducing truck traffic on our roads. After years of advocacy, this is a major milestone for Hamilton.
Prime Minister @mark-carney.bsky.social checked in with Hamilton steelworkers before attending the Junos, because this industry remains a top priority. We can't build Canada without our own steel.

Interesting, productive and collaborative discussions in Washington, DC this week as our delegation of MPs and senators met with more than 20 U.S. counterparts. They care about the relationship with their northern neighbours.
He's heard me go on and on about it in Ottawa, but Mike Kelloway had to see for himself the extent of Hamilton's port infrastructure, and its critical importance to Canada's economy. Thanks for the visit, Parliamentary Secretary, come back again soon!
When Interval House of Hamilton got together with local unions to respond to gender-based violence, they came up with a training program for men & boys that is so successful, itโs about to launch nationally. This is how we fill the jobs we need in the trades and make everyone feel safe.
Kebab Fazil is such a hot spot on the Mountain, he's added a second location! Busy even during Ramadan, when families are bringing home feasts to break their fasts.
My friends at Woodland Cultural Centre do an amazing job showcasing Indigenous arts & I canโt wait to see their dream realized for a future, purpose-built centre.

What a heart-warming evening as Hamilton Mountain came together for the Coldest Night of the Year walk, in support of Neighbour to Neighbour and the critical work they do feeding, supporting and caring for those in need.
Do you see too many gambling ads while trying to watch sports? My friend @senatormartydeacon.bsky.social has a bill to create a national framework for sports betting ads, and I was happy to speak in support.
