Very pleased my piece introducing the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to the Nordic Larp community made it onto their main website!
It looks into whether the Starcruiser can be considered a larp, and what lessons it holds for blockbuster larps overall.

Hard to believe it’s only been a week since returning from 1924 and Miskatonic University Larp

Would anyone happen to have access to a ticket to the Magic Castle for tonight (Friday Feb 21)?
Going through the 100+ character sheets for the upcoming Miskatonic University LARP by Chaos League. I can’t wait to play—the writing is amazing!

Going through all the 116 of the character sheets for the upcoming #MiskatonicU #Larp by #ChaosLeague. Ho-boy did they write a TON of good stuff.
Putting my INTJ hat on, I have now fed a ton of the data into ChatGPT so I can see what it says about em. Super fun.
OMG, yes! Got deets?!
Could anyone recommend any Nordic style here in the US?
The more I think about it, I like using the term interactive instead of immersive. What do you think?
This. Calling, for example, "Sleep No More"... an immersive experience, or Theatrical performance, ARG, or Personal Entertainment Experience et al...doesn't really identify what the thing really is.
SINE experiences are designed to fully immerse participants in a story that could only happen in that specific setting, blurring the lines between reality and fiction.
I propose a new term: SINE. Site-specific Immersive Narrative Experiences— storytelling with narrative directly tied to/shaped by the physical location.
The term "immersive experience" is too vague and seems to be a term put on everything from Malls to VR.

If you know…you know.
A bag of candy corn next to public trash cans
Random thing spotted today.
Did you know? Black Friday is named in honor of Rebecca Black, who invented Friday in 2011.
More times than not, I have down time between Thanksgiving til New Years…and this year is no exception. I use the time to dive deep into a passion project and brush up on some skills.
Looking for something fun this time. Escape Room? Seance story? Theatrical automation?
What are you working on?
You got this! Totally worth it!
First time?
Watching a CLASSIC! “Castles don’t have phones…”
Anyone else working on a story of psychopath pair of rabbits who are trying to kill their audience?
Only have to see it two more times.
Name this show!
Whoa. Neat.
I have like one more gig scheduled til the end of the year. Time to visit Valentine (et al) for a play-through.
Don’t you hear? Christmas season starts December 26th this year. It’s a year-round celebration now.
