I meant exactly what I said. History shows us over and over since its development in the 15th century. Human trafficking is a globalized capitalist enterprise. And the U.S. has been interfering in other countries since at least WWII. Neoliberalism is an offshoot of capitalism—a symptom, if you will.
Democracy and capitalism are fundamentally incompatible. Until we reckon with that, there can be no true democracy. And if you try to get one going in your country, the other capitalist countries come in and install a compliant dictator, like they did in the U.S.
