Last Saturday went better than I could have hoped! So many people showed interest in this project and I had such a great time meeting all of you. Thank you everyone.

Food security, clothing, safe and warm shelter, medical care, self-defense – are all systems that can be created in the cracks of the failing but violent system we are resisting.
CREATING ALTERNATIVES TO THE SYSTEM: To escape oppressive systems, we must create our own systems that meet the basic human needs (and more!) of people in caring and liberatory ways.
**Mentors** People who are verified to teach skills or answer questions regarding their expertise. IE Certified tradesperson such as electrician or mechanic, or has been an active hobbyist in a trade or craft for 3 years.
**Curators**
Newsletter - Write email newsletters that go out on a set schedule
Help maintain order on discord
Facebook / Bluesky curators - Make community information posts on facebook and bluesky, moderate discussions on those platforms.
**Social media/ Content management**
Tech help - Discord bot setup, Get google forms to auto populate a list of available tools linked to the person who owns them.
Discord Moderators - Enforce the server-side rules and keep it working as a resource and place of positive discussion.
Necessary positions
**Staff**
Logistics - Pickup / drop off tools. Tool cataloging. Sort tools and test for damage.
Volunteer coordination
Tool repair - Sharpening planers, electrical work on power tools. De-rusting donated tools ect
Shedhead - maintain community shed space
Every individual who wishes to learn a skill for personal fulfillment or to contribute to material support of the community should be given that opportunity.
Central Principles
Everyone should have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to improve their homes and shelters and maintain the infrastructure they depend on.
