Finally, the Bluecoats. I mean, what can I say, there’s not a weakness anywhere to be found. Last year was impossible to follow up on and #TheObserverEffect does exactly that. Trombone soloist’s tone is like butter!

The crowd was electric for the Boston Crusaders. People are ready to will #BOOM to a victory! Horns, drums, guard, everyone is a star in this show! I want it for you!

Santa Clara Vanguard remains my favorite show of the year. That opening hit sends shivers down my spine every time! Just some of the craziest writing that anyone’s doing! Everyone’s just firing at full throttle in #TheaVANtGUARD!

Fun fact, the Blue Devils were the first corps to give me tears this season (last week). This show is packed with emotion and I will defy anyone who says otherwise. Your #VariationsOnAGathering were beautiful!

Meanwhile, Carolina Crown’s show is unrecognizable (complimentary) compared to the beginning of the season. Aggressive, dark, impressive. I’m just spouting off words now. Y’all returned from #ThePointofNoReturn to give a powerful finish to the season!

So I get it now, Mandarins. #IfIMustFall is a powerhouse of a show. One of my favorite colorguards, fantastic sounds, so much physical work going on. Keep rising!

Cavaliers, very cool stuff. This show MOVES. Killer drumline to boot. #ShapeShift is easily the biggest improvement show from last season. Much more exciting and cohesive.

Thank you for being just unapologetically fun Blue Stars! We need a little silliness accompanied by your ripping horn line! #SpectatorSport was a delight every time!

Troopers, it doesn’t get more classic than that. What a triumph to bring all of your 2020’s shows to a beautiful end in #TheFinalSunset. CHILLS during the ballad with the cello! You could feel the performer’s emotions from miles away! Looking forward to what’s next! INCREDIBLY emotional performance!

#InRestlessDreams was my biggest grower show this year. It didn’t quite work for me early on, but really came together later! Those uniforms are such a cool effect! Really loved all the colors you brought to the field this year, Colts!

Thoroughly enjoyable performance from Blue Knights. Glad to have you back in Finals! Kinda neat to get the first woodwind soloist in top 12. Loved #DRIP all season, hope to see more next year!

Colorguard, brass, and percussion seem to be pretty locked. Bloo has a slight edge for GE and a razor thin edge for visual. SCV could snipe the Brazale.

Music Analysis is a weird sub-caption. I cannot explain it, and yet it somehow also feels right that Crown is highest in it.
I think it was just a rough run for the coats. The soloists seemed tired.

Reaching the slow down week for scores. Crown had a decent increase from last night, most other moves were small or negative.
