Here’s a timelapse of my latest drawing a little bumblebee! I love how these tiny creatures have so much character. This one was a lot of fun to draw, and super satisfying to watch back in speed mode.

It's Gouache, it's the first few days of trying them. I can't believe I never tried them before the colours are sooo fun!
It's often difficult to be enthusiastic about creating art but every so often you get a reminder of the fun that sparked becoming an artist. Today I started playing around with Gouache paints for the first time and this was a good day 😊
It's been a tough 6 months since my last studio position fell through. And like most of the artists I know who were affected by redundancy in the film and game industries we are all just getting by on little pieces of work and trying to find new ways through the art drought....
