This isn't the exact comment but it was something like this so maybe!

Ok I had this exact thing happen and came to a reddit thread with varying solutions that worked but the one I landed on was like plugging and unplugging while holding a couple buttons and then it went back to normal I'll see if I can find it but it's out there.
The combat in the original was like resident evil melee combat with random encounters even In towns. I think they fixed it so it should be much better.
I noticed this when I saw there was the 'big 3 Japanese mysteries', with an agreed on fourth and a bunch that proclaim being the fifth of the three.
Great job! Will be reccomending it on here and on the jrpg reddit now and then.
Been having this problem with wold arms 4 above regular resolution, but not to experienced so wasn't sure if it was common or an easy fix.
He used the AI haters blocklist which means he's blocked a significant chink of the bluesky population and prevents users they blocked from using the quiet posters feed and probably other stuff.
i wasn't using it but it is such unserious site things that access to the Quiet Posters feed, which is part of the functionality the site has advertised on official accounts just broke for 300k people because it runs out of the tech advisor's personal account and he's a thin skinned AI baby
Wild Arms 3 released on PSN on my 2016 and nearly ten years later now we got 4.
Wild arms 5 rerelease in 2036!!
'How's it goin' dude? My names Rand and Videogames are my life. I just love 'em!'
Right now I'm collecting ROMs of this game called 'Extra Challenge,' but I'm havin' a hard time.
If you find any game ROMs during your travels could you bring em to me? We can chill out and play together.
Game prompt: By collecting ROMs through Filgaia you can attempt stages of the legendary action game Extra Challenge.
Wild Arms 4 is now or on PSN and it's only $10 which I'd consider a steal for a cool platformer semi-tactical jrpg with neat ideas. Arenas, weapon crafting, skill systems, hard bosses!
Here's a sidequest where a gamer guy asks you to go find him some ROMs.

The only other thing I have logged is RE2 which I couldn't think of any way to really slip in personally.
It is tempting to just go try other '98 games before the poll closes, lol.
It has a bit of that FF tactics serious war story edge while still being pretty fun gotta collect em all RPG.
I got the remasters for pretty cheap on fanatical, seems like they're good.
For perspective I was 5 years old that year. I played street fighter and ocarina then but mostly experienced them because of my brothers.
MGS was from a friend and xenogears and suikoden 2 when companies put their cult classic hits on ps3 digital for cheap!
Goty: Xenogears Gameplay: Metal Gear Solid Narrative: Suikoden 2 Soundtrack: Ocarina of Time Art Direction and Multiplayer: Street Fighter Alpha 3
My picks for Backloggd best of '98!

Literally translating the way the Japanese language uses quotation brackets makes everything sound sarcastic in English.
This is like an 8 out of ten.
My review so far of wild arms 4 the one typically agreed upon as the worst wild arms game.
Wild Arms is a good series.
Can't believe I'm going to become an infowars fan.
Makes me think of that old 4chan post where the guy is like I hope they get rid of Obamacare, I just rely on the ACA.
New Jim Ryan crimes.

I got stuck in some flooded cave dungeon and even watching youtube playthrough couldn't help ome figure out what I did wrong. Chalked it up to an emulation glitch and lost the save since!
“But Last Flag’s a Li-“ it’s not, tho. It’s just a multiplayer CTF shooter. It’s not a live service is the thing. It doesn’t have any microtransactions or live service elements. You buy it once. Even though it’s multiplayer it is a game for which player count doesn’t equal life or death for the game
They always emphasize that, but typically you can buy these releases outright. I'd expect It to go up for $15 same day.
Oops I forgot to put story setup for wild Arms 4 is not particularly good. Though I think characters have a shot at being fun.
Quartet: good indie RPG got all achievements which is rare for me.
Wild Arms 4: wanted to get ahead of the rerelease and started playing. Combat and systems is interesting story.
The silo season 2: good mystery box drama.
I'll get pragmata as soon as cex gets a copy In to use my trade in credit.
Turns out you can refund the skill points anytime or when you'd get the skill normally, I'd assumed it was like Wild Arms 2 where you can actually end up noticeably weaker of you don't invest into the right things early.
Guess they learned from that.
So you learn skills at certain level ups, but you also earn points to ucan spend towards getting a skill early. So at level ten Raquel can spend ten points to earn her level 20 skill.
But also unused points just passively boost your hp and so what do I dooo.
There's even level 100 skills. #blutoid
I am playing Wild Arms 4 next and I reccomend it for gameplay and systems people cause the hex battle system and Skill learning has me excited.
Also Raquel is so strong.
when you have heard of the game in the youtube video titled "the underrated classic you've never heard of"
Finished Quartet with all achievements! Haven't done that since 13 sentinels.
