I’ve been inVFX/Post for 25 years. I would say the same thing now that I said to myself when I started: if you want to make films, make them your way - don’t let anyone tell you how to do it… just be inventive and original every day and you’ll get by. Tech changes, but goals don’t.

Pretty sure he just said he’d do it at the end of this term. Not the end of his reign. Could be wrong though.
Would make an interesting update to Zone of Interest.
Americans may be about to learn the term NIMBY.
I know it’s just threats. But telling an enemy where you’re going to attack them is a big no no, right?
Thinking about Wil Wheaton reading these lines a few years after his buddy River Phoenix OD’d. Must be strange being a child actor.
How could you possibly have meaningful talks with a regime in waiting while you’re threatening to wipeout their infrastructure? Oh, because you can enslave them while they pay your buddies to rebuild it. Not sure they’re gonna buy that.
I’m not a friend of people who voted for Trump. But they’re not complicit in his crimes unless they commit crimes. His campaign specifically said he’d avoid wars and they voted for that.
Those magical images that retro-interpreted the games’ blips and flickers back into the imagined epic struggles from which they had been distilled. I loved them.
Coleen Rooney was consulted.
He turned up for once, with the sole purpose of walking out.
But what people here do see is daily harm to their lives as a result of all this. Americans don’t feel it when Europe erupts. But Europeans feel every shudder that comes from the US.
Yeah fair points. I’m a US/UK national living in the UK. It’s not cutting through here. Other than Minnesota, which as you say is more urgent and intense. As for the local elections, it’s difficult for people here to see the impact.
Of course not every American is responsible. A tiny fraction voted for him. But the silence (or perceived silence) from Americans who aren’t directly feeling the hurt is being noted around the world. A little more public outpouring of rage wouldn’t hurt.
Yeah I often wonder if the image creation tools are just a side hustle for these folks. Or a bit of whitewashing.
Is there really even a roadmap. Other than constant hype cycles and investment drives?
Perry’s appraisal of US intelligence: we don’t know if the supreme leader is alive, if he has a leg, we don’t know anything. Exactly.
Yeah I get it. I’m just curious which depts would be push AI. Art?
Camera dept? Or is this all pre-pro?
I’m intrigued about the AI grips. How does that work?
So you’re a leader of a fanatical religious regime. Do you really care if someone ruins your oilfield? Or do you just reframe it as some sort of challenge of your faith? Not exactly rocket science is it?
God I wish we would. But Starmer is trying to please everyone - including the hateful Reform crowd - rather than listen to the folks who voted for him.
I completely agree that countries led by religious fanatics should not have nuclear weapons.
Or fascist. The cabinet is becoming militarized. They’ll all be in uniforms soon.
Profile pic checks out.
Mom always said…
Well it would fast become my hobby to unwrap ICE cars. Or even better to creatively re-wrap… I’ll see you all in a bit.
Just curious. Is anyone in America actually talking about this war? Over here in the UK we’re not hearing much from you guys.
Would be very cool if the screen animation responded so an image inside the light expanded!
What a dick. Does he think his audience doesn’t understand basic VFX work, or that greenscreen is used as a catchall phrase for background replacement? Why not just say he worked for on-set realism rather than alienate half the people who worked on the film.
