I worked so hard canvassing for Gore. Think of how much better off the world would be if we had a president who was an environmental leader. Then it was doubly traumatic when Bush beat Kerry.

I’ve come to realize people think slurs are just words that hurt our feelings. No. Slurs, particularly the N-word, F-word, antisemitic terms etc. aren’t taboo because of that. It’s because historically when these terms are said they precede or pair with pitchforks, torches, lynchings & gas chambers.

I think he wants us to remember and be intimidated. He wants us to let him get away with it or encourage it to happen on a large scale to keep him in power. I don't think he wantd us to forget.
My sympathy. I an an old, single woman with an adorable, energetic, rescue dog with separation anxiety. She's the light of my life and a big problem too.
