ik it’s also a personal preference thing. I like drawing fast and loose to portray form/figure or a feeling, so all the details just bog everything Down Like the vibes r so muddled now. There must be artists out there who enjoy detailing so this wojldnt bother them but I’m not one of them 😔

Gacha games be doin anything but giving their characters unique facial structure/body type/skin color so they just throw in 3 billion jangly details to distinguish characters. Maybe it’s also a misconception that details=good design?? but every gacha design I’ve ever seen is so goddamn convoluted

I am fully aware of my heavy heavy bias against gacha games as a whole n I feel bad abt disliking smth I just will never look into but i drew an uma for an art request and it just reinforced 3 fold my dislike toward gacha game art direction

raaah I’m actually so proud of my progress like this only took 1.5 hr… I was so stuck during the sketch and just Went screw it we ball and popped off on the painting…

I was rly into a hat in Time back then and my first and only close knit online Friend group was formed thru that… it was tremendously fun tho and i thiink I still follow some of those members on various social media to this day
