As someone who adores maps and so many other things related to geography, I think I owe it to myself (and her memory) to learn more about how she made GPS possible. It's something so many of us take for granted - Google Maps or something similar is in almost all taxis, for instance.

You're being a lot kinder to my countrymen than I would be. Support for universal health insurance is a mile wide and an inch deep. We (collectively) keep voting against politicians who support it, and Trump 2024 is far from the first example.
Maybe I was thinking of Costco or Sam's Club. My bad. I think Walmart has a wide VARIETY of items, but fewer bulk options (I love the saying "a mile wide and an inch deep", or kilometers/centimeters). I think Costco's THE place for bulk shopping.

As much as I hate Trump, I don't think J13 was staged. It would have been way too easy to accidentally kill him, and then MAGA would be over. How hard is it to believe that with heightened political tensions and more guns than people, someone would try to kill Trump with a sniper rifle?

We don't deserve them, but it's a very kind gesture nonetheless. I've been to Japan, and despite how different it is from the USA in MANY ways, the capital cities apparently have quite similar climates. That's why cherry blossoms do well in Washington DC.
