Republicans are again preparing to gut programs that benefit working families to pay for an illegal, unpopular Middle East war. But they won’t lift a finger to help families put food on the table or get basic health care.

Last month, Trump told Speaker Johnson, "Nobody gives a sh*t about housing,” so Congress would prioritize Trump’s election takeover bill over a housing affordability bill.

Today, Trump’s Budget revealed he plans to eliminate over $6 BILLION in housing affordability programs.

Trump’s Budget completely eliminates LIHEAP, a $4 BILLION program which helps struggling families, including military families, afford energy costs.

This huge cut comes as Trump’s fossil fuel obsession and illegal war in Iran drive up energy prices for Americans.

This week, Trump told a room of faith leaders the U.S. can’t afford “to take care of day care,” because "we're fighting wars.”

Today, Trump’s Budget Proposal revealed a $232 MILLION cut to child care funding while the Pentagon would receive a massive $1.5 TRILLION budget.
