In the USA… if you can’t afford to tip well then you can’t afford the service.

We don’t pay our service workers enough… not even close to living wage for most. So the “tip” is part of the fee to eat out/vacation/etc.

I mean, sure. You do you. But even if the service is meh, I’d tip decently. 🤷🏻‍♀️
