A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning,
as if supported by the rays of the sun, a bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked.

Ran into some friends on my walk the other day.
To be clear, I'm on team Pope.
Finally got around to pinning my brood XIV cicadas, but I couldn't find my pinning foam anywhere, which I only realized when I had already defrosted them. So...fairly happy with this considering I absolutely didn't have the right tools. This is one of a bunch collected in Sandwich, MA.

Wow. Their take is spectacularly ignorant. By that logic, we also get to "Why should it matter if children in terrible conditions stitched my shoes? The shoes are still the same?" π
Well done. #NoKings
What is it about 2 am that my brain goes "dude, you gotta SEE THIS...WAKE UP!"
Thanks, insolent sponge.
Glad to have the Blue Hills within a short drive. It was glorious the other day. Frogs chirping, snow melt streams running, and mourning cloaks fluttering.

When I got my broken nose fixed a few years ago, the woods in spring were overwhelming after years of smelling almost nothing. It made me feel so grateful .
Lovely peaceful hike in the Blue Hills today. I'm always thrilled to see a pileated woodpecker. Today was such a day. Still only the slight hints of evergreen in the forest, but it smelled of mud and the promise of leaves to come.
This skeet didn't age well π₯π₯Ή
I just realized what they look like. Those aren't feet that's a Christmas cactus ISTG.
