The current thinking in Charleston seems to be that we can lift the state up by luring businesses with lower taxes, cheap labor, and little environmental regulation. This strategy only brings us more companies who treat their communities, workers, and environment as poorly as they can get away with.

Why can’t Bluesky remember my position in my feed after I view an image or follow a link? Seems like basic stuff.
The lies just don’t stop.
I just want to see James Caan on speed skates.
Your sarcasm dollars at work.
I’m staunchly in the “another think” camp, but then again I used the word “abed” in a text last week.
I actually bumped into Mike Mills after that show… as he was exiting the student center bathroom.
I saw them on this tour, at the Busch Student Crnter at Rutgers. I was pushed up against the stage, which was only a riser stuffed into the space between the student pub and an on-campus Hardee’s. Mitch Easter opened the show.
I think Mike Mills backing vocals on So. Central Rain helped define my musical tastes.
Hell yes… probably the only redeeming feature of the place though. lol
Were you as disappointed as I was? lol
Although I will admit that Beaver Nuggets are pretty awesome.
“gonna have everything free there for ‘em”
Beyond the racism is the willful ignorance of the fact that taxes from NYC are funneled to Alabama.
<slow-clap>
The Target is in Milltown, technically.
Gotta be the big hotel at Exit 9

I’ve decided the White House Ballroom is a good thing. Once Trump is out of office we can use it to seat the 140 to 180 additional members of congress we need to give every state the same representation as Wyoming or Montana.
I recommend playing a mindless video game (Fortnite works for me), while simultaneously listening to an audiobook.
This channel is fantastic… “I make a new one”
This is seriously the problem with every algorithmic feed.
This is mine, that show was crazy good.
Did Kilmeade just say "just kill them" regarding the mentally ill and homeless? Really?
This hit #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1984
youtu.be/wtElYKTtZPc?...
I loved the hell outta this one back in the day.
As a huge fan of the books, the show just didn’t seem to have the right vibe. The books are hilarious without ever seeming silly the way the show does.
Real property is different, which is why I think the real answer is to sharply limit what you can do with unrealized gains. Make it illegal to use it as loan collateral, etc.
