So sorry. My pressure sore was grade 4 - it is still here after 3 years. The DN are good though. I hope the op will help you.

It’s still sore now. Not the best start to the day but minor in relation to everything else.

Thankfully yes, I was doing the washing-up!

Managed to stick a fork in the area below my thumb. Really hurt but took a while before it started to bleed.

I try to - just very complicated feelings -finding it hard to articulate.

It’s not because I wanted to but the more I became isolated the more distant this world became.

Unfortunately through disability- I have become more and more isolated. So, it’s like another world has been going on - my family - but a world I barely know anything about bar what is said to me in the briefest of phone calls

It left me with very complicated feelings.

Very lovely and kind.

I really thought it would be gone.

Yes, but if I’m honest a difficult day. Felt very estranged from my family.

So various members of my family put it on FB. Lots of people said they had found it. Then one woman sent a message. She had opened the bag and found a letter with a name/address on front so we knew she had found it. She dropped it off at my mums last evening. Power of social media.

My brother was in a rush yesterday, got me back in the his car for the journey back to my home. I handed him a bag of presents that he was going to put in the back bit actually left on top of his car. We drove off and realised the bag was missing at my flat.

Going into another year with this still an issue makes me feel very low.

1 year ago 2 0 1 0

I hope so. I find it very difficult as well. Even though I’m physically closer to the 2 members of my family - I feel very detached as I have been isolated trying to get my pressure sore better. It still is a problem - 3 years now. Nurses here every other day.

Polite that he asked permission and he obviously was so pleased he wanted someone to tell his good news.

Neighbour asks if he can walk across my decking - says he won’t damage plants then tells me he has a new home - a mortgage - his first home - with tears in his eyes. He must be in his late 30’s . He’s moving out now after renting for years and years.
