A photo of an ad for imported NEC PC Engines from a company called Micro Media. From £199.95 in 1989 pounds. An arcade cabinet against a cloudy mountain landscape with a gameplay snap of R-Type can be seen in the corner.

"A New Age Has Dawned..."

There was no other console in 1987-1989 that generated as much buzz and excitement in UK games mags as the PC Engine. It was *the* hot thing to import. The exotic Japanese console of the future.

A set of three photos of the moon highlighting with a white circle and label where the crater named Carroll is situated. It is on the northwest of the visible face of the moon.

Left: A close-up photo of the plush named “Rise.” It is a pale white sphere with big black eyes, pink circles on its cheeks, and a smile. It wears a baseball cap shaped like Earth, featuring a brim with stars and rockets.

The plush was designed by eight year-old Lucas Ye from California and its name and design were inspired by the photo Earthrise. It functions as an indicator of gravity to enable the astronauts to remove their seatbelts at the right time.

Right: A group photo of the Artemis II crew (left to right, Jeremy Hansen, Christina Hammock Koch, Reid Wiseman, and Victor Glover). The crew mates are in their blue uniforms, and Wiseman is holding the plush named Rise.

In all this darkness and grief, Artemis II is a reminder that humanity, at its core, is built on love.
