Yes, but she knows that she is making slow progress and that she has to accept that. She was having a physiotherapy session when I visited her this afternoon. We think she will be in hospital for another ten days or so.

Morning Ash and Janice. Hope you both feel a bit better today. I will be visiting my wife in hospital this afternoon but I might be on here again tonight.

Yes, and it shows easily everything can be manipulated online to change our perception of the world.

Thank you. I don't have the computer skills to do things like that. 😃

Many years ago, regularly used to rebel against Wulf Helm's tyranny but nobody else joined in the revolution so I gave up.

Birmingham at a push. I lived there for 18 months when I was 7 - 8. I sound Scouse to my Sunderland family now but not to proper Scousers.

I'd do it. I could do it in a Geordie or a Norwich accent!

Thanks, MV, her treatment really started on Monday when the doctors returned to work from their strike.

My late sister-in-law was a hospital pharmacist. She had loads of stories like that, usually involving tings inserted in the rectum. She remembered them all in perfect detail!

Her admission to hospital coincided with the start of the resident doctors' strike so for the first week they really just kept her comfortable. Her proper treatment started on Monday when he doctors went back to work.

Hi, Janice. I hope you are OK. My wife has been in hospital for 10 days or so with severe arthritis in her legs so I have not been on here much. I did see your post on my phone last night though.

You have to test the evidence in court or the system would be abused.

The courts would not be able to cope with the numbers of cases

Think Boris Johnson!

Yes, I had a friend at uni who told me that, "When you have eaten the food at a boarding school, you soon learn that it all goes down the same way!"

Thanks, I did a food hygiene course a long time ago but it is easy to get complacent about these things because we can't see the bacteria.

That's a lot but I didn't know about the dangers of reheating rice until this Phillipina woman told me about it.

Yes, I used to work with a woman from the Philippines. She told me that there were lots of cases of food poisoning in the Pacific region which were caused by "Chinese people" who reheated rice which had been cooked then allowed to cool down.

Some rich Brexit supporter, with a name like Lord Doddery Fotherington-Thompson will probably bale them out with some money to keep them going.
