i think i remember reading about it in the context of David Holzman's Diary, and it's a similar type of direct address to camera. And people were upset to realize it was fiction. probably even from around the same time but not 100% sure

there's a short film about a woman that is set up like a documentary but it's not actually one. iirc it was written and directed by a man? It's not Lady (1993). it is something else. i haven't seen it cause it's hard to find online. but i can't remember the name. any ideas?

we should absolutely not be doing irreparable psychological and physical harm to literal babies. feels like one of those things that is so obviously wrong, on its face, to any moral agent. And yet more than enough people can justify making it happen. In fact they are clamoring for more!
