Schlitz's catalog is WILD. "On the Other Hand" is fantastic, and "Forever and Ever, Amen" is one of those songs I'd always assumed was written by The Universe and not some guy

Six strings, ten fingers, three tunes, zero amplification, and I swear I could run through a brick wall listening to it
Cirie is always gonna have an endgame problem, whether it’s being viewed as a jury threat or the show screwing her over with some dumb twist, but my god, that woman is a freaking genius. I love watching her play Survivor SO MUCH.
Especially when the “floaters” in question are some of the savviest and most strategic players! Seriously, Christian, Rick, and Aubry are “floaters” but freaking JOE isn’t? Playing the middle isn’t floating! Gaaaaaaah!
But it’s just a breezy little 43-minute monologue — you can’t spare the length of a network TV drama to learn that opportunistic political figures are positioning themselves to run for president in 2028? HOW ELSE WILL YOU LEARN THAT
A toddler has been visiting our house for the past 24 hours and there's already a jar of whole cloves where the cat's asthma medicine used to be
should I drive from DC to Chicago to adopt this enormous cat, y/n
oh, HELL yes
I've put off subscribing because it felt weird sending money to my former employer, even though its ownership and management have improved a thousandfold since I left in 2004. And yet the prospect of even *theoretically* becoming No. 69,420 has melted my dead black heart. ENJOY MY MONEY, JERKS
I knew UConn's women's basketball team was good, but they are up *65-12* over Syracuse AT THE HALF.

Many many thanks to the whole PCHH operation, especially our fab production team, which works much later than I do to get our recap to you.

As for the Oscars telecast itself, the way they pace it will never stop being truly wild to me. There'll be, like, a six-minute bit leading into best documentary short, and then after three and a half hours, they're like, "and finally director actor actress picture"
Give PTA credit for lovely, gracious speeches tonight. I preferred Sinners to One Battle After Another, but I'm glad he's getting flowers
I first noticed Jessie Buckley in I'm Thinking Of Ending Things -- like, "Weird movie! But she is INCREDIBLE." So happy to see her get this moment, because she's awesome and fully committed in everything she does.

Is he handsome? I bet he's handsome
Go as long as Adrien Brody did last year! Do it!
NOW. WE. ARE. TALKING.
This Adrien Brody bit would be funnier if they hadn't just... fine, whatever, let's do this
Yeah, heaven forbid the winners of a highly anticipated award -- not to mention the first-ever K-pop song to win an Oscar -- get to actually give their speeches. I feel like Adrien Brody is STILL giving his speech from last year
IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Okay, if film editing is indeed a harbinger of a best picture win -- as it so often is -- then my Sinners prediction is not looking *great* right now. But I'm not abandoning it! Optimism! Let's do this!
All right, time to bring this Oscars telecast in for a landing! Just a lean... eight awards left to give out
