One of my favourite movies growing up, and still is, and it still wrecks me

It was barely enough to illuminate the spread of his charts, dividers and maps scattered in front of him, flickering faintly as the rest of the aircraft was swallowed in pitch black. There were small moments when it was broken only by the flicker of tracer fire or the ghostly glow of the moonlight when it had the chance to stream through the Perspex windows. The navigator’s world was built solely on darkness and quiet concentration, sealed away from the front half of the aircraft by a blackout curtain draped, and fluttering faintly and the back half by the wall of Raphael’s station. Whilst the rest of the crew looked outward into the night, watching for fighters, looking toward the engines, Aziraphale focus was buried on hyperbolic lines, flight paths and the steady ticking of his father’s old watch. He worked mostly alone, locked in a relentless cycle of calculating bearings, adjusting for drift and ultimately relaying it all back to the pilot to keep them dead on course. There was really no room for error — one wrong heading, just one miscalculation and suddenly they could be hopelessly off course and most likely somewhere in the heart of enemy territory. His position required precision at every minute of every hour, all upwards of the eight hours they should be in the air. This routine he’d settled for, it was more than just plotting fixes. The numbers never stopped, nor the relentless questions firming off in his head. What is our ETA to the next waypoint? Ground speed, wind drift? Any course corrections? He had to stay ahead of it all.

I want to take a moment to share a little something I've been working on. A Human AU and a very technical fic, set in the middle of WW2, with Aziraphale as a navigator in a crew of a Lancaster Bomber and Crowley as part of the ground crew helping with maintaining the engines.

I have a lot to say about this AU, and i've been cooking it up for a bit. Crowley here works as part of the groundcrew keeping up checks on the Lancasters' engines

There is always going to be *those* people that do not like what you put out to the world, but so long as you do your part in tagging your stuff correctly, it is their responsibility to not read or interact.

Do not let them gaslight you into thinking otherwise, we're all adults here.

To all GOmens writers, artists and other fandom folk, go write what *you* want to write, draw what *you* want to draw: whether is be kink, Aziracrow presenting femme, either one with a vulva, penis, or hell, BOTH AT ONCE, them with a child or 9 months pregnant

Do not be discouraged by these people.

And to encourage other people to go after folk that want to explore those aspects is disgusting, endorsing hate in todays world where we see nothing but is vile.

Along with the other extrememly harmful rhetorics being spewed around on the topics of BDSM/Kink, gender conformity and asexuality.

It is utterly shamelful that in a fandom full of queer folk, based around celestial beings that have no ties to human concepts such as gender and sexuality, that you would insinuate that they can be nothing but men.

Listen, a lot of people in fic go against what is canon within the piece of media they create for - that is why alternate universes are created and heavily enjoyed - but you cannot be so entitled as to bash other people down for what they like, write and draw.
