Last night in the #UCL, Belgium Winger John Bakayoko scored against #PL leaders Liverpool. Bakayoko has been linked with a move to Tyneside for a while now and I’d argue last night was a good showing that he can do it against the very best in England, thoughts on this one #NUFC fans ?

Yeah I’m in a similar boat, I think it’s good as the ‘smaller’ teams have a better shot at progressing as opposed to the old group format where only two teams form each group could. But there does seem to be an almost unnecessary load of games. Of course if we’re in it then I think it’s great 😂

I completely agree and it wouldn’t make any sense if he was our only other fit Striker apart from Isak. But with Wilson meant to be close to a return and Gordon also having qualities to operate in that position it could also make sense and like you say, Osula needs the minutes.
