I planted the seeds of #coding a real time clock day night cycle for #BigEBots. I already was testing lighting effects when it getโs dark. This will take time. I never coded a real time and date tracker so itโs going to take weeks of R&D and I feel very confident I can make it work. #indie #gamedev

I found a solution for an bug where wild battle and trainer battle triggered at the same time. This is an image of a plant robot and a poison robot fighting while the trainer text is overlapped from the overworld. It crashed after that.
Ah ha I probally have found a solution to that double wild trainer encounter overlap bug in Big E Bots I think all I have to do is write in a busy state enum for all encounters and that trainer encounters on tall grass get priority over wild battles #BigEBots #code #indie #gamedev #solution

a bug where both the trainer and the wild battle appeared at the same time so it was playing 2 scenes
Major bug I encountered what are the odds. I got a wild battle at the same time I got the trainer battle. The wild battle scene appeared as you can see but the trainer officer dialog is playing while the wild battle scene is active. #code #bug #wip #BigEBots #pixelart #gamedev
