Of course what US is doing is imperialism because they use a boat. Land empire is too complex to understand when people look a bit similar.

What an embarrassment

We can only speculate... Mobilization and turning to war economy? Fear of unrest from economic collapse? Controlling narratives when withdrawing 100s of thousands of soldiers from the front? Or just wanting China style control for any eventuality? There must be a grand strategy, even if a shit one.

Russians can trust that Ukrainians won't do it, I like the saying ми не ви, we are not you. Ukraine is simply better, and stay better after the war as russia continues to rot inside.

50% is poor though, German integration simply takes too long, it's tough for the migrants themselves when stuck in the slow process.

Reciprocity would be nice, but russia continues to torture, execute and starve POWs while Ukraine tries their best to follow the rules. When there is no enforcement, international law is no law. But as a principle reciprocity would only work if both sides are willing to break the norm.

Yeah but if you see a few of the same ones every day it doesn't mean much. Of course the are a lot of Ukrainian men in EU, there has always been. Don't let your personal annoyance cloud your judgement.

Yeah just a few million draft age men in Ukraine, and the ones abroad are overwhelmingly not eligible for draft or volunteering.

Same, not for kink shaming, but it's a bit thick when it's people who are so keen on banning other peoples behaviour.

Is your coffee machine located in a place according to the two wall rule at least? :)

Well, they haven't exactly been a sterling ally to Ukraine either... I remember kurds warning when the big war started that Ukraine should be careful, US will stab them in the back, like what happened to the kurds. I was thinking, no way, the interests align too well, but I was wrong and here we are

It's magical, one of my favourite things when driving through the villages in Ukraine.

Well, considering that the grand strategy of European countries, Ukraine included, is just to chill, we'd be there without russia messing it all up.

Or, ramp up the help for Ukraine and solve the problem here and now.

"I think" is doing some heavy lifting there.

She represents a section of the country which might very well welcome russias invasion. It's not worth it to get worked up about her comments.

Sure, but no active sharing with russians, that is quite a leap to take.

Shouldn't state speculation as a fact, in the beginning there was poor security practices and information leaks, but no evidence of active sharing. US still shares intelligence with Ukrainians despite everything crazy going on the political level.
