It was all scraps from previous projects, and slats I found in some back alley. Any piece of plywood would have done the trick, it was just a good excuse to build something and spend time in the shop :)

And now it's all so much better and slides nicely under its bookcase for night time 😪

Then for a moment there were a lot of velcro and cables everywhere.

Using torrefied maple, some black walnut, and some scavenged bed slats that may or may not be birch, I cut things until they fit together nicely, then sanded and finished it all.

Using a pen and paper I decided to solve this.
