The only constant, over time, is the choice of formal greeting. Whereas a talk to a physical audience might involve 'Ladies and Gentleman', online talks and meetings still always begin with the hallowed 'Can you hear me?', to which the standard reply remains 'We can hear you but not see you'.

Probably a better use of my time 2day than eating endless Easter chocolate from the Cadbury factory around the corner.

One talked of facticity/validity whilst the other famously said that 'we live in fictitious times [in which] a fictitious president [sends us to] war for fictitious reasons". That was also in 2003, to be clear.

Got me looking back at some very old notes on Habermas, in which I found as a bookmark on an equally old ticket to see Michael Moore in 2003...
