Build up your personal libraries with these important works but also keep checking them out from your libraries. Put the on reserve and check out over and over. Those stats are important indicators to libraries about what is wanted and needed!

Listening to The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling and reading We All Live Here by Jojo Moyes
Cover of the novel Where They Lat Saw Her by Marcie R Rendon and poster’s rating of 5 stars from the Story Graph.
Wow. Marcie Rendon has written another compelling novel focusing on the #MMIW in northern Minnesota. Highly recommend this read to all.
Thanks! I need this!
Okay, I’m hoping this will gain some traction on Bluesky *inhales* SALEM PUBLIC LIBRARY IN OREGON IS IN DANGER OF CLOSING. This sets a dangerous precedent for state capital libraries!!
This is a continuation of the saga from last year, when we were saved at the last second by the then-mayor. (1/2)
Thanks @duttonbooks.bsky.social and NetGalley for this ARC. Again this book had more depth than I expected focusing more on sister relationships than the rom com I was expecting based on the cover (don’t worry, there’s still some romance). Solid read. #booksky
This listen wasn’t the rom com I expected but I still enjoyed it. Thanks @ Libro.fm and Zibby books for the ALC. This book has more depth than the cartoon cover would leave you to believe! #booksky
If Tana French has one fan, it is me. I loved her Dublin Murder Squad series and finally got to this one for my book club. Even though it’s a hefty 450 pages, it hooked me and kept me wanting to read more. Will start the next in the series soon. #booksky
Thank you NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the ARC of this one. Late to review it, but this is exactly my kind of thriller. Dark and twisted (think cannibalism) with intriguing protagonists. Excellent read. #booksky
This was a delightful listen. Thanks @librofm.bsky.social and @hachetteaudio.bsky.social for an ALC of Tartufo by Kira Jane Buxton. Light, heartwarming, beautiful prose, fantastic narration, loveable characters - this book had it all!
My favorite part of being a librarian is my “regulars”!
📚📚 An EASY and FREE thing you can do right now is get a library card!! 📚📚
THEY are coming for our libraries. Libraries are the foundation of community efforts and one of the last true places you can exist and gather without a fee. Simply USING the library helps and is so EASY AND FUN!
I’m a librarian and in general a huge advocate for the freedom to read. @bookriot.bsky.social shared a great list of ways you can also be a library advocate in 2025! Share widely! bookriot.com/56-small-tas...
I’ve swapped from tik tok to threads and now here. Glad to see you here too!
