Version 1.4.0 includes some big updates.
I have been working hard behind the scenes on some new features for Headcode.
Some of which I am really excited about.
Keep your eyes peeled on our social media for news on when this version is released.
Headcode version 1.3.0 is now available.
This update introduces
- iCloud Sync (beta).
- Maps on spot details to show where a spot was logged.
iCloud sync is still in beta, if you have any issues with it please reach out to support@headcode.app

Version 1.3.0 has been submitted to Apple which includes iCloud Sync ๐
If iCloud sync was introduced, what would you hope from that? Is it seperate from a export and more of a backup/sync feature?
We are looking for your suggestions, what is one feature you wish was in Headcode but isn't currently and would be a game changer for you and the hobby?
Headcode version 1.2.3 is now available.
This update fixes a number of bugs
- Wishlist matching.
- Wishlist editing flow now saves changes.
- Locomotives not appearing in reference data.
- Locomotive reference card updated.
- My Spots now includes onboard/trackside indicators.
We have identified a few bugs in the latest release of Headcode, a patch has been developed which will be submitted to Apple today and automatically released once approved.
We are sorry for any inconvenaiance this has caused.
Gotcha, we added a number of operators to get people started with the app, you can add your own operators support.headcode.app/ios/settings... which then become part of your personal dataset.
I tried to make Headcode as flexible as possible when it came to the data aspect.
We are glad that did what you wanted.
Final question, you said there was a typo. There is a great central heritage railway, which of the two entries is incorrect?
How's this?
Ah I see, so you would like a way to differentiate spots that you see from the track side and spots where you were abord the locomotive within the My Spots screen. Interesting. I like this.
Introducing Wishlists
We have released the next big feature for Headcode, wishlists, now you can add locomotives you want to see not just locomotives you have seen and when you log them Headcode will automatically remove them from your wishlist.
Available in version 1.2.2 on the Apple App Store.
Hello - I am really sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Can you explain your feature request a bit more? Sounds interesting.
I will take a look at the typo issue too, thanks for pointing that out.
