Covid and flu shot acquired! Woot!

It's been a while since some stranger has given me unsolicited advice about my body. I hate that all I could say was "okay." I hate that I froze and didn't feel safe to snark back. Can we normalize letting people be?

I finally got around to watching Wicked. It was pretty and I'm looking forward to the next movie.

Just finished seeing Fantastic Four! It was definitely a good time!

When I was a nurse it took a case manager, documentation, and an act of god to put anyone in restraints. This is such a risky move for people with mobility issues. Fucking hell.

Date night at the movies! We're watching The Blackening.

Random cool thing. I just got something in the mail that had to come with an ice pack. The ice pack contents can either be used as plant food or emptied down the drain. So freaking cool!!

This is day 15 of super forceful coughing. I'm so tired and my abs/ribs/shoulders/throat hurt. It's not pneumonia, my xray was clear. I'm very slowly getting better, but I am so frustrated.

Wey and I just finished watching Fear Street Prom Queen, set in 1988. It got some of the 80s stuff right, but lacked what it and other modern 80s set movies lack. I can't quite put my finger on it, other than to say a certain grittiness. For those who lived through the 80s, care to weigh in?

Plumbing issues strike again! Why is my basement floor squishy? Turns out the water heater is broken. Luckily, I'm already home sick?

This current round of crud is driving me nuts. Absolutely zero energy, head full of snot, and I am SUPER whinny.

I made tzatziki with pickles instead of cucumbers and it was super yummy. Also, traders joe's kebabs are delightful.

Weirdest jury duty I've experienced. I had to fill out an extensive questionnaire online and told to attend a zoom meeting. An hour before the meeting, I was excused. It was kinda nice just to hangout at home instead of waiting all day at the courthouse.

Just finished watching Thunderbolts* with friends. It was definitely a fun time!

I'm finally getting around to watching Heartstopper, and it's making me feel all gitty and squee!

Just got back from a fabulous getaway with friends. It was great to disconnect and unwind.

I would like to live in a world where providers explain the exams they are ordering for their patients, but I guess they would have to understand what they are ordering first. *snark growl*
