With "mostly" i mean that I've seen a few eye movements that I'm not sure if they're supposed to be like that, but they are definitely better than they've been for the last almost two years

I haven't seen anyone else say anything about the eye fix. I updated my game and I can confirm that it is indeed fixed. I have compared pictures of my sims before eye issues, during eye issues, and now. The eyes look correct, they mostly move the way they're supposed to, and they close properly 🎉

Every time I'm close to finishing posting a chapter I'm thinking that maybe I should take a break from posting, but then when I finish posting I want to start to post the next chapter 😅

Oh, I can see a very obvious gap on my UV1, it's huge 😂 What does the UV1 do compared to UV0? UV1 seems to not have anything to do with the image, since it's not mapped to it? So I can just close the gaps and can ignore where it's placed on the image or do I need the other image in the tutorials?

Is UV1 the UV to the left in Blender? Or are there other UVs?

Why's there a gap in CAS when I've closed all the gaps in Blender? I triple checked, everything that's supposed to be merged is merged and the whole thing is merged by distance

Btw, why is that voice called brash? Shouldn't it be brass? You know, like a trumpet. The symbol is even a trumpet. I always thought it was called brass/brassy, but looked it up before I wrote my post above and everywhere says brash (my game isn't in English, so I can't check there)

On this theme, I must say that my favourite is probably when sims with the brash voice say something that sounds like "easy, easy" during woohoo. That voice in general is fun during woohoo, they're so talkative! Checking in on their partner, as one should 😌

I remember when my mum was unemployed when my sibling and I were 8 and 10. My stepdad had a job that couldn't be done remote (wouldn't be possible today either) and she had shared custody with my dad who lived in the same city, and she still had to apply to jobs all over the country 😑

Good tip! Never thought of it. And now I feel like playing Sims 2! But I don't think I have space on my computer to install it 😅 and even if I do, I'm not sure how to install it, because I'm quite sure the Ultimate Collection disappeared from my library (unless it's hidden somewhere)

I'm not allowed to decline a job offer if I want the better-than-nothing money they give me 🥲 So, I *can* decline a job offer, but it means no money that month. I'm glad my partner has a good salary, and if needed my sibling also has a good salary, but it would've been nice not to rely on others

But if I started my own business it would have to be something connected to a hobby, because I can't start a biotech company or a school 🙃 I'm not entrepreneurial enough for that

Sorry for the rant, but point is that capitalism is bad and we shouldn't feel that we need to monetise our hobbies

I totally agree. A big reason to why people do this is absolutely because of this capitalist's utopia! I think many of those who monetise their hobbies have no other option, because they can't handle a Real Job TM (often due to some undiagnosed issue) and it's either that or living on the street
