I’m not interested in people claiming iconic healing powers. It’s just a distraction.
I’m interested in the everyday person that is wearing a respie, or well fitted mask, to resist the waves of disease. Thats the true power. Knowing you have a choice, and can make a difference.
"Conclusion: This ambispective household-based study with extended follow-up demonstrates that SARS-CoV-2 transmission in families with children is common and strongly influenced by modifiable behavioural factors."

Yeah… I feel this too.
Loving your country shouldn’t mean constantly apologizing for what it’s doing.
Two very cute newborn baby goats, one brown with a white belly stripe and one tan, walking across a grass lawn toward the camera on wobbly baby legs
Have some baby goats 💕
A drawing of two birds on a bird feeder the caption reads "finding joy in the little things is an act of resistance"

Keep doing what brings you little bits of happiness
You don't need to be an Olympic athlete or an astronaut to wear a respirator
Your life is precious too ❤️
Cats instinctively don’t like to drink water close to their food source (prey would contaminate fresh water as it decomposes). Is the dog’s water further away from the glorious floof’s food dish?
anti-fascist?
anti-capitalist?
anti-eugenics?
anti-racist?
*please reflect on your praxis*
and how it also intersects with disability justice - are you wearing a mask to protect the vulnerable?
“nobody’s free until everybody’s free”
don’t do their work for them
wear a mask whenever you can 🙏🏼
always read @natashalennard.bsky.social: "It’s high time that Democratic leaders treat the assault on trans youth for what it is: the attempted eradication of an entire category of persons, against which committed political opposition should be the baseline."
PSA: You don’t owe anyone an explanation about the health reasons why you are wearing a mask.
Badgering others about the tools they need to survive is stigmatizing and ableist, and should have no place in decent society.

“The state of NJ can do much more to protect families,” says the coordinator of an immigrant advocacy group in New Jersey. “We know that the best way to help families in our communities is to keep them from ending up in detention.”
In the US, law enforcement isn't just legally allowed to lie to you, they're ENCOURAGED to. OTOH, your lawyer is legally prohibited from lying to you and can lose her license for it.
Which of those professions, though, do you reflexively associate more with lying?
You're not immune to copaganda.

It's why conservatives turned "woke" into something derogatory to be mocked. Because one of the most dangerous things to a conservative is a woke white person.
I never post politics but I feel like the wolf is at our door. PLEASE #NJ if you support science, education, women’s rights, clean water & air, civil rights, health care, religious freedom & basic common sense, #VOTEBLUE2025 He is trying to get his claws in NJ & we CANNOT let him. #MikieSherrill

Sesame Street will be putting a huge collection of episodes on YouTube starting in January 2026
This is a fantastic way to educate children
It’s a form of resistance.
Shows like Sesame Street teach love, tolerance, acceptance & more.
These lessons are crucial for the long fight ahead.
a lot of these guys sucked real bad before Elon bought twitter but it’s remarkable (in a very negative sense) how much worse they’ve all gotten since the purchase
They said "hurt people hurt people." I answered, "not all hurt people hurt people. Some people spend their lives making sure no one else feels what they did. Some break cycles, some build safe spaces. Some turn pain into purpose. Hurt people don't just hurt people hurt; hurt people heal people, too." Nadia Adessi.
We all live or we all die. We all get saved or none of us do. No one is an acceptable loss or collateral damage. And I will not support any politician who views any group of people as an acceptable sacrifice for election, no matter the cost.
No one is disposable.
This Pride month, remember that whether you are binary or nonbinary, whether you have one gender or many or none, whether you are socially or medically transitioning or both or neither, whether you use traditional pronouns or neopronouns or no pronouns...you're beautiful and I love you.
If you care about social justice, wear a respirator.
If you want to fight fascism, wear a respirator.
If you care about your health, wear a respirator.
A well fitted respirator protects against Covid, measles & more.
It’s a simple & easy way to resist while practicing community care.
One of the best ways you can help disabled people and fight fascism is by wearing a mask.
Representation and visibility matter. When you wear a mask you tell us you care about making public spaces safe & accessible.
You also make it harder for mask bans to pass.
Mask up. We need you.
It will never cease to amaze me that wearing a mask was a deal breaker for many people.
It’s a powerful public health tool. It’s one of the most effective ways to avoid mass disablement. It keeps you & your community healthy. It shows you prioritize self care, disability justice & bodily autonomy.
Lately the most romantic thing two people can do is talk each other off a ledge.
