Just said exactly that. I can’t see anybody strong enough to replace him at the moment. The media will try break any Labour PM to get their man in.

A straight wealth tax will in all probability yield less than is delivered by the individual taxes set out above. Only 3 EU countries have successfully implemented a tax on wealth and even then it does bring in the predicted revenue.

It is, I hope these people never fall on hard times and need to ask for help😏

It’s a sign of what we have become as a country after 14 yrs of a Tory gov who only looked after the wealthy, that people really object to paying their fair share, even if not paying means leaving kids in poverty. It’s just pure greed 🤯

There was an international court ruling that said the islands should be handed back.

It was a deal that needed US approval, the deal was instigated in 2022 following a court ruling, just need signing by Trump. He changed his mind following intervention by Badenoch/Farage, so it can’t now go ahead. But it will end up back in court and will probably cost!

I’m not sure it’s that simple, the agreement had been made with all parties, just not signed. It’s not really good politics to cancel agreements that have already been made. If Trump still wanted it to go ahead can you imagine the outcry if Starmer had cancelled it.

But before Iraq Labour under Blair had done some great things. I agree Iraq does overshadow all the good he did and to be honest since leaving office I’ve thought some of his actions/dealing have been dubious😏

Uk are shooting down Iran’s drones that are attacking our allies in the area. Uk has given permission for our bases to be used by US for defence of those allies only. This is being monitored by our military i believe.

I agree, I thought that was their purpose. My first complaint was about a news report, which was factually incorrect. They said GB News isn’t a news channel, it gives opinions not News. I responded saying out the name is misleading in that case and they should be made to change it.

I know a few students that used to use it and it saved them a fortune. They either froze the stuff (even stuff that shouldn’t be frozen, fortunately nobody died😂) or just had a massive food blow out. Better than some other students I know who used to raid the big bins at Sainsbury’s at closing time

20,000 miles a year is a lot of mileage too, the average is only 7,400

So news channels can do/say anything and if nobody complains it’s fine. But even when you do complain it’s brushed away. In reply to my first complaint they “GBNews isn’t a news channel” to my second, which was about racist language used they said “it’s what their viewers expect” so no action again🤬

To be fair, I didn’t know about them either. Having said that before I defended him I would probably have googled it😂

Can’t answer that🤷‍♀️ But its strange he is complaining it’s not in any book shops but it’s 7th in the Amazon best seller list. I think he is probably buying them himself🤣

Totally agree, I was furious when Gov was forced to reverse the WFP.
I’m sure at some point the triple lock will be dropped but as long as it still goes up in line with inflation, as with other benefits I don’t see we have any complaints, well I won’t be complaining anyway.

Number 2 book in the country, on what lists. I’ve check a few and no mention of this book on any of them🤷‍♀️

It is shocking that we have come to this and for me the blame lies firmly with Farage.

“We're not allowed to do anything."
But it does sound as if there was more to it.

They are currently building the new train line linking towns surrounding Brum, Moseley, Kingsheath into the city. It will be a game changer when it’s finished which looks to be quite soon. Plus there is a tram line extension which opened yesterday.
