Yep its official! I left my phd program because it was was too toxic and abusive.

I knew there was a reason to never state my academic affiliations openly. As a marginalized scientist you never know when your prejudice employer will backstab you with discrimination.
All I want is an advisor of a lab where the people know how to treat each other with decency and respect regardless of the diversity of differences we may have among us.
I need a new phd program and an advisor who understands this.
I cant think about what my advisor did to me due to his biases without having severe tremors, flashbacks, and migraines. The tremors get so severe I can't even type.
I need an advisor that knows how to respect underrepresented scientists instead of berating them everyday.

If you can swing a wool mesh base layer, do that, but any kind of clothing/insulation that makes an air barrier between you and your clothes.
I'm cold-loving, but I'm often *too warm* wearing a wool base layer in -5f Colorado winters.
After 16hrs driving, a hike, some Dave and Busters to destress and some shopping at places that dont exist in this small town i live in, im now back and straight to playing catch up tomorrow.
