The work to replace 285 lightbulbs is planned to take place over Easter, starting next week - so the improved wellbeing from better lighting, money and carbon saving can all kick in as soon as next term begins!
Any project surplus also goes to supporting Selce’s fuel poverty alleviation programme.
- Thanks to you all, the school is projected to save a projected £79,000 over 10 years, reducing emissions by an equivalent of around 71,000kg in CO2 in the process!
- This now becomes Selce’s 11th community-financed LED lighting site, in total covering 5,454 fittings, & c.£78k in annual savings.
