My mind is blown, this looks fucking amazing. π

This is brilliant! I've been trying to think of how I would model a screen printing frame to embed the fabric into it but I didn't even consider printing the whole stencil.
Thank you so much! π
Finally getting the hang of this whole screen printing thing.

I got it figured out! I think the emulsion just wasn't dry enough yet. It's so nice to be able to wash out the screen and do another color. I've been doing vinyl stencils on a circuit before this and the water always ruins it. Thanks for your help!
Yeah I'm having difficulty finding exposure times for my setup. More experimenting is required! Going to let the last two screens dry another day and try a couple different exposure times on one screen tomorrow. Wish me luck!
It's ecotex PWR emulsion, I've seen some people say exposures as low as 3 seconds and as high as 40 seconds worked for various UV floodlights so idk
So I did a 5 second and 10 second exposure on my least favorite screen with a 20w UV floodlight about a foot away. Almost all the 5 second exposure washer out, and the 10 let go of the screen in a lot of places. Is this from the emulsion needing to dry more, too short of an exposure, or both?
Uh oh, did I choose the hardest thing to start with? Sounds like me lol. If scratches showed up maybe this will be fine, I finally got off my ass and coated the screens so I guess we'll find out tomorrow! Thanks for being so kind with your knowledge π
I think my transparencies are from goldupusa, but the problem I'm having is the ink looks black but isn't super opaque. I've not used it for screen printing yet, but I did a test on some sunprint cyanotype paper and it seemed to work OK there. Is this dense enough?
Aw thanks so much! I'm procrastinating on coating my screens right now lol. Any tips for getting a more dense transparency, or how to know if it's dense enough?
Hell yeah! I'm still learning screen printing but I'm enjoying it.
Bah!
OMG I love it! Those books may be why I became a furry lol
Okiedokie artichokes! π€ Opening for β¨οΈ2 slots this monthβ¨οΈ for custom linocut badges - I did one for @radiumgoat.bsky.social awhile back and I'm itching to do a couple more! Hmu if this sounds like something you'd be interested in!
We're holding a #fursuit auction to make a donation to ACLU Kansas as they work to oppose SB 244.
SB 244 is an anti-transgender bill that has invalidated the driverβs licenses and birth certificates of people who have changed their gender markers on these documents.

Come see me at #furnalequinox ! This is my first time having a table at a con, so come check out my avatars & a couple of handmade things :3
π Did someone say special avatar texture only available for the con? π
Oh nice! I've been on the lookout for one with S video but haven't found one yet. I've got one of those dvd recorders for a psuedo-TBC and an old PCI TV tuner card for getting it on the PC
Looks like you're one device away from having a VHS linear editing station going. I have a similar VCR to those two you have on bottom and love it.
