i am not interested in men. i never had a comphet experience that led me to actively pursue men. i didn’t have guy friends growing up 😭

so, i don’t relate to most people’s experiences 😭

women with problematic politics and relationships tend to receive significantly more criticism than misogynistic men themselves. and even then, it is extremely subjective of what problematic is, and ends up meaning possibly anything.

in my personal experience, i feel like i have been affected by male-centeredness because i stand outside of it, as a lesbian and genderqueer person, which can lead to a sense of alienation when society says your life is supposed to revolve around men (—> the whole heterosexual marriage nonsense).

it inevitably leads people to weaponize this against other women who do not act in an acceptable manner to them, and then… once again, levying criticism onto women instead of men.
