First off, thank you for sharing that article. I’m definitely going to dive in. Second, I wish I was being sarcastic when I said that B2B marketing is hard but it really is. Third, you’re correct, 5day minimum should be considered minimum viable but showing the conversion makes my boss happy.

I attribute it to that specific email because that’s where I know the action came from.

I use a five day window to determine if an email generated either a sale or an action that can lead to a sale.
