closer up of previous showing one railjoint that would be hard to spot as a rail joint except for a very slight gap and one of the 4 track ends meeting is slightly flared or wider (solder that's been filed?)

Whoever suggested odorless mineral spirits for track cleaning, thanks.

Another cleaning tool you need in N or Z is a 🔍 or 🔎👓🔍magnigoogles, although in a pinch a phone with a decent camera + light. Get up close and personal w/ your track (after the mineral spirits dry!) #ModelRailroad #Advice
