Don’t worry, this is just a Google automated process designed to reinforce and validate your decision to move away from them. It’s normal. This is fine.

Point is that it’s a business model but I’ve no idea whether a person can sustain themselves in it s an entrepreneur. It’s for sure something I think is worth having a go at and I’m sure I would love doing.
How it typically works
• You book online / WhatsApp / phone
• Mechanic arrives with a van or cargo bike
• Does ~80–90% of repairs on the spot (punctures, brakes, gears, servicing)
• Bigger jobs → they take the bike away and return it later
mobile Fahrradwerkstatt in Munich exists. Honestly as a total do-it-yourself person I’ve never used the service but here’s the summary I got from a search returning AI results (next post):
Kind of. A lot of people quickly embraced it and spent huge amounts of time building environments and God knows what else. I don’t care a jot about the crypto/NFT speculators, but there are hobbyists, small creators, and digital entrepreneurs for whom this must be gutting.
I consider myself a maverick rule breaker.
Are you angling for a Shame Award?
Now you got 10. Although I don’t live in the US, I’ve visited Seattle several times.

In case it’s not clear I think we’re having “we’re cooked” moment because the public is starting to hate anything that appears automated. Where automation itself has been omnipresent for decades.
In defence of bots, I do run one that posts daily updates about a film schedule. It’s not AI and I fear that friendly bots are being lumped into a larger and unpleasant bucket because we have no way to judge the difference. AI can solve that I think… oh wait…
Morning all, let’s see what today brings…

In Germany the merchant’s cost is the same whether customers use touch or chip. PayWave is provisioned differently and so merchants get charged extra and it’s total bs.

I had no idea that existed …🤔 Coming soon: Hurdles!
I use Google Authenticator, not linked to my account. I didn’t realise it was possible until now! I see how that could be problematic.
The spam is real. I run my email server with clamav, which isn’t great. Thunderbird spam filtering is 50% miss. But my email is entirely under my control ☺️
Topical… lol.
If you didn’t still enjoy your job, what would that say about your boss..?
Thanks, interesting. I wasn’t trying to cast doubt on that bay, but in general I assume it’s like shellfish where they can pick up contaminants.
Also no, I'm not in Australia.
I understand that it's an acquired taste. I've never had it AFAIK. Do many people like it? Would you eat it raw if you weren't sure about contaminants in the area?
I suppose that should be “dumbing” down, but that’s how I roll. I’m a Teams user.

Skype app not happy letting go and appears to consider Teams a dumming down of some kind.
It’s safer on the ground anyway.
