Three young boys would come to my house every Saturday with two beat up lawnmower’s offering their lawn mowing services for $10 for our front yard an an extra $10 if they mowed the backyard. I gave each of those boys $20 & helped them patch up their mowers. We gotta support these hard working boys!💜

Thanks Brad! It was a really fun experiment piece! Started on the wheel and then hand built the top using coils and pinch pots! Worked on it while thinking about all the corals, barnacles and mountains I saw while traveling in east asia.

Was told by a professor years ago that this piece gives major Studio Ghibli vibes. Still consider it the biggest compliment I’ve received about my work. 😆Hoping to make more large sculptures in the future.
