I just can’t enjoy fireworks now I know how much distress they cause. I don’t know the best compromise but this petition is doing well and at 100k sigs will be considered for debate in Parliament so I’m getting behind it. Please consider signing and sharing.

“An overwhelming majority of teens – 94% – say schools should be required to teach media literacy. And students with some form of media literacy lessons are more likely to fact-check before posting to social media, push back against misinformation when they see it and seek out reliable news.”
Didn’t know that 😳

Change is constant in the field - it’s what makes it interesting!
Always be curious. Read widely - not just L&D stuff - (eg check out “Yes, And”)
Qualifications and more importantly, the learning that goes with them is important. Study the science of learning - it’s much more important than learning how to use tools.

Jeez, I need to do something about my typing 🙄
Yeah, one day I woke up and there it was. Like Rib, mines fades some days, but it’s always there. As it’s not a physical condition, there’s nothing much they can do for it. But, go to an audiologist for a check up. I did and she was really helpful
Welcome to the club! 🙁 Too many years at loud rock concerts and standing in front of amplifiers when I played in bands caught up with me.
Yeah, I’m a great believer in the unique/unexpected things humans bring to interactions. Not sure how how an algorithm could cope with that
You know me Rob, it’ll be an NHL Match for me, my team wasn’t playing last night, but I’m l looking forward to seeing the Oilers thump the Rangers 😉
Nope, I support your approach 100% I totally understand the peer pressure, but I think we, as parents, have a duty to protect and teach our kids safe practice with digital devices and services. Too many don’t
Found this in LinkedIn. Quite a dystopian example of possible use if AI in employment in the future. How will employers navigate the ethics of this, and will they even care?
