The union is all of us coming together, not a third party. The union buster who is reportedly going to hang out in our office for the next week kind of seems like a third party to us. And in the sake of transparency, we wish we knew what Abrams is spending on this.
The union buster was introduced to us this morning by CEO Mary McAveney who told us she didn't want a "third party" coming into Abrams to change things. She claimed to be "overly transparent" in her leadership of the company.
We're so disappointed Abrams leadership has decided to allocate thousands of dollars to trying to convince us to vote no in the election we fought for. It is particularly egregious considering starting pay for entry-level roles at Abrams is about $22/hr ($40,000/yr) in NYC.
